This original plein air oil painting was created in the summer at the Bald Cypress Nature Center at Trap Pond State Park in Laurel, DE. The sky was a beautiful blue cluttered with big puffy white clouds. It is the most northern stand of bald cypress trees. The colors are various shades of green and yellow green. The trees buttresses are shown near the water line, and the bark was a reddish brown. -Painted with highest quality paints for lasting beauty.
